early education

At St. Mary’s Pre-Kindergarten, we offer both full and half-day programs for 3 and 4-year-old children. Our curriculum is designed to be child-centered and activity-based, fostering a secure and happy environment where children can engage in both group and individual activities.

Aligned with the latest educational standards, our curriculum stimulates children’s minds and encourages their natural curiosity. Our classrooms are set up to inspire exploration, play, imagination, and creativity through various areas such as blocks, library, art, and manipulatives. All activities are age-appropriate and aimed at fostering academic, social, and emotional development.

In addition to core activities, full-day students also receive instruction in Special Areas including Physical Education, Music, Art, and Technology.

For our 3-year-old program, the focus is on developing interpersonal skills through group play, art activities, singing, and storytelling. Please note that all students must be fully potty trained before the start of the school year.

Our 4-year-old program builds upon the skills introduced in the 3-year-old program, emphasizing sharing, listening, and following directions. This program is designed to prepare children with readiness skills for kindergarten, covering domains such as approaches to learning, physical development, social and emotional development, communication, language and literacy, and cognition.

Our Pre-K program ensures a smooth transition into our full-day Kindergarten program, providing a familiar environment with familiar teachers. Children benefit from relationships with older students, engaging in special projects and activities together. Through buddy programs and collaborative play, students of different age groups learn and grow together, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
